Kandice Lynn CRPO
As a therapist Kandice likes to help people work through many different kinds of challenges, whether that is looking at how their day-to-day lives are being impacted or working through deeper-rooted concerns. Kandice holds a membership with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I have a Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, as well as a Bachelors of Arts with a major in Psychology and Minor in Family and Child Studies from the University of Guelph. The therapeutic modalities she primarily use are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). The foundational approach she uses with all of my clients is a Person-Centered approach, otherwise known as Client-Centered Therapy (CCT). Kandice believes that all clients are unique and are the experts in their own lives. in session she puts this belief into practice by helping clients discover their own path to healing.

Dr. Jane Summers PhD, Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Jane Summer has over 30 years of experience supporting individuals with autism and their families. Dr. Summers received her Ph.D. in school psychology from the University of Toronto/OISE in 1991 and became a registered psychologist in 1995. Her first position was with the Department of Behavioral Psychology at the Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, Maryland. She also held an appointment as an Instructor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine during part of this time. Dr. Summers moved to Hamilton Health Sciences/McMaster Children’s Hospital in 1994 where she held a number of positions over a 20-year period, including director of outpatient mental health and behavioural services for children and adults with intellectual disabilities and clinical supervisor with a community-based program for children with autism spectrum disorder. She started at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in 2014 to take the position of Director of Interprofessional Practice with the Underserved Populations Program (child, youth and family, dual diagnosis and geriatric mental health). Dr. Summers has been working with Always Connected Treatment Network since 2018.
